He is from Morocco, N. Africa, and he was signed into the French military when France occupied N. Africa. France, and the allies, have not honored him properly and he still tells stories of the war, bravery, service, the liberation of Europe by the Americans and so much more. He should at least get a call and told “Thank You” properly. He lives with my sister in Fes, Morocco, in an apartment I bought for him.
