I was so pleased to get your comments. Yes, Calais is really good now. Much more than people know, particularly the Calais Dragon and his family. I hope you enjoy stopping over there.

The UK’s departure from the EU together with the Channel Tunnel seem to have had a significant impact on the economy.
Once again I spent a few hours in Calais today on my way home. As always I was tired and used Calais to recharge my batteries for the trip home:
This was my first visit since we left the EU and something was different. I noticed buildings not far from the centre in need of some serious tlc.
Thank you for your guide. I had no idea what I have been missing.
It’s time for Calais to be the destination.
