Hi Francois
What a good question! But I'm no expert on seeing the Tour de France in Paris (I've just watched it outside Paris). Here's my advice: First check the Tour de France schedule to see what time it comes through and where (https://www.letour.fr/en/). You could try somewhere on the outskirts of Paris but you have to know where to go. Better to go for central Paris with all the excitement. Don't go for the Avenue des Champs-Élysées; it's very crowded and as it is such a wide road the riders are quite far away. Instead try the Jardins des Tuileries/Rue de Rivoli (on Jardins side) as they pass several times here. Get there early (some metro stations close). Get out at Palais Royal Musee du Louvre stop. Good luck and if you can let us know what it was like!

Hi Mary Anne and other readers,

Thanks to Mary Anne for the great and informative blog. I will be travelling to Europe this year, with my family, and we will be in Paris for the last day of the TDF. Do you have any advice on where to go to see the peloton coming by, as I have no idea at this stage where we should go? Also, I've seen some tickets like for grandstands etc that are being sold, but I would like to just view them coming past on a stretch of road for example.

Much appreciated
